SPEC Board of Directors –> Diego Esteves
Diego Esteves was elected to the SPEC board of directors in 2024 and currently serves on the SPECpower Committee and the ISG Server Efficiency Committee.
Prior SPEC Roles
Diego worked on the SPEC CPU Committee from 2001 to 2012, contributing to the release of the SPEC CPU 2000 benchmark, the development and release of the SPEC CPU 2006 benchmark, and the development of the SPEC CPU 2017 benchmark. In 2017, he chaired the SPEC Cloud Committee. He is now Dell’s primary representative on the SPECpower Committee.
Industry Role
Diego is a principal systems development engineer at Dell Technologies focused on Dell PowerEdge servers. He started his career in software development, working at a small database and telemonitor company and then at a commercial CAD/CAM/CAE software company. He first joined Dell in 1999 and has worked in a variety of roles, including as a client performance engineer for Precision Workstations and as a program manager for the competitive analysis team.
