David has served on the SPEC Board of Elections since 2022. He is the chair of the Open Systems Group (OSG) Virtualization Committee, and a technical representative to the Virtualization Committee and Machine Learning (ML) Committee.
Prior SPEC Roles
David has served on several other SPEC committees. He was a contributor to the SPECpower and Java Committees, and he was Officer of Elections for the Research Group's (RG) first steering committee elections in 2013. David has also co-authored several SPEC committee posters presented at annual International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE) conferences.
Industry Role
David is a principal software engineer at Red Hat in the Performance and Scale Engineering Group, and he is Red Hat's primary representative to the OSG. His work focuses on industry standard benchmark performance analysis in RHV and OpenShift Virtualization environments. David previously worked at Compaq and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in a variety of roles in QA and performance analysis of new hardware products.
