2023-02-09 The 14th International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE) will be held April 15-19, 2023 in Coimbra, Portugal.
2022-12-14 The International Standards Group (ISG) has formed the Client Efficiency Committee to oversee the establishment and development of standardized client computing benchmarks for use primarily in national and international standards organizations, governmental regulations and energy efficiency programs for client computing systems. The benchmarks will focus on application types that are often used on notebooks, desktops and workstations.
2022-12-01 The OSG CPU Committee has released version 1.1.9 of the SPEC CPU 2017 benchmark suite. The new update includes: an initial toolset to enable limited usage on RISC-V architectures (reportable runs not supported at this time), improved automated system configuration gathering tools (sysinfo) and new Academic Pricing ($50). Please note, as of February 28, 2023, all SPEC CPU 2017 results submitted to SPEC must use version 1.1.9.
2022-10-25 The International Standards Group (ISG) has formed the Server Efficiency Committee to oversee the establishment and development of standardized server benchmarks for use primarily in governmental regulations and compliance programs related to energy use and sustainability.
2022-10-18 The SPECapc® project group has released the SPECapc® for Maya 2023 benchmark. The updated benchmark offers application performance measurement for workstations running Autodesk Maya 2023, the 3D animation and visual effects software used by top artists in the industry to create realistic characters and stunning visual effects.
2022-09-28 The OSG CPU Committee extended the SPEC CPU v8 Search Program deadline to March 13, 2023. The committee encourages all interested parties, whether a SPEC member or not, to submit applications to the SPEC CPU v8 Search Program so they may have a chance to be a part of the next SPEC CPU suite. 2022-10-25 SPEC formally announced the formation of the International Standards Group (ISG) to collaborate with international stakeholders to develop and enhance standardized server, client and datacenter benchmarks for use primarily in government regulations and compliance programs related to energy use and sustainability.
2022-10-18 The SPECapc® project group has released the SPECapc® for Solidworks 2022 benchmark. The updated benchmark offers application performance measurement for workstations running Dassault Systèmes Solidworks 2022, the latest version of the CAD/CAM application.
