SPEC CPU® 2026: The latest version of SPEC's popular processor performance tests, released in May 2026.
SPEC CPU® 2017: The most recent predecessor to the SPEC CPU 2026 benchmark suit, released in June 2017. SPEC CPU 2017 will be retired in Nov 2026.

SPEC CPU® 2006: The previous generation of the processor performance tests.
SPEC CPU® 2000: The previous release of SPEC's popular processor performance tests; retired in February 2007.
SPEC CPU® 95: Obsoleted with the release of SPEC CPU 2000 in December 1999.
SPEC CPU® 92: Obsoleted with the release of SPEC CPU 95 in August 1995.
SPEC CPU® 89: Predecessor to the SPEC CPU 92 suites, now long obsolete. No material available here at this time...

SPEC CPU V8: Completed search program for new benchmark candidates for inclusion in the SPEC CPU 2026 suite.
SPEC CPU V6: Previous search program that lead to several successful new benchmarks in the SPEC CPU 2017 Suite.
SPEC CPU 2000 Next: The development of a follow-on suite to SPEC CPU 2000.
