A significant portion of the time required to develop a benchmark goes into testing. Throughout the testing process of SPECapc for SOLIDWORKS 2020, Brian Bothwell demonstrated extreme attention to detail and excellent documentation skills when reporting errors and issues. He would often include many example screenshots and very specific instructions that were critical to enabling other members to reproduce the issues. He not only found bugs in the benchmark, but also made important suggestions for improvements in the Graphical User Interface and documentation. SPECapc for SOLIDWORKS 2020 was delivered on time and is a better benchmark thanks to Brian's involvement.
