Setup Screen

Edit Configuration Reporting Fields

error-file:tidyout.log The Setup button gives you a window similar to this one which you can use to edit the data fields describing the configuration you are testing.

It is important that you go through these screens carefully and enter the correct information, as this is the information which will appear on the reporting page. As required by the run rules and by the terms of your SPEC license you are required to correctly disclose all configuration information and test conditions. Even if you are only doing an internal test run and do not intend to publicly disclose the result, consider your own documentation requirements, e.g. for another engineer to be able to correctly identify your test results a year from now.

You can make this process of editing configuration values more convenient by preparing ahead of time configuration files describing your systems, and then make only minor changes in the setup window as you run your tests.

error-file:tidyout.log On this window the Previous and Next buttons let you switch among the several panels of configuration information. When you are finished editing, press the OK button to accept your new values. To discard any configuration value changes you may have made, press the Cancel button.
