Instructions for Downloading the PLB Benchmark

The PLB benchmark available at this site is a sample implementation that runs under PEXlib. Versions that have been customized for a variety of computer vendors and graphics libraries are available by contacting the PLB member companies listed on the Member Page. Also available for download from this site are the Benchmark Interface Format (BIF) specification, eight standard benchmark files, and files to test PLB implementations.

Here are the instructions for obtaining the PLB benchmark:

1. Access via ftp: ftp.spec.org
2. Login: anonymous
3. Password: (your e-mail address)
4. Directory: PLB:
   BIF specification: /dist/gpc/plb/doc
   PLB PEXlib sample implementation: /dist/gpc/plb/plb_pexlib_2.1c
   PLB OpenGL sample implementation: /dist/gpc/plb/plb_ogl_1.0
