I have been asked to set up a single instance of the appserver workload on bare metal for analysis purposes. So I want the appserver and the dbserver to be running on bare metal on the same SUT. (My understanding is that the client harness does not care whether it is talking to VMs or to bare metal).
If I use the instructions in the Example VMs setup guide for setting up the dbserver and appserver on the same SUT, should that work? Just checking before I go thru the exercise.
